
Senior Windows Endpoint Developer – Workforce AI Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Take full ownership of the Windows agent from start to finish, spearheading the architecture for privileged services, inter-process communication, installation, and unattended auto-update pipelines.
• Design and implement certificate trust and TLS interception mechanisms on Windows platforms.
• Create robust state-reconciliation logic for configuring system proxies.
• Develop integrations with AI developer tools such as Claude Desktop, Cursor, and VS Code.
• Guarantee reliable coexistence with antivirus, EDR, VPN, proxy, and various endpoint security solutions.
• Lead root-cause engineering initiatives utilizing logs, diagnostics, and evidence from customer environments.
• Manage the Windows installation and update experience, encompassing silent installations, upgrades, rollback scenarios, and enterprise deployment edge cases.
• Serve as the definitive technical authority for Windows, establishing engineering standards, conducting code reviews, and contributing to the technical vision.
• Ensure the product adheres to a fail-open philosophy, gracefully degrading without disrupting connectivity or access to corporate resources.
• A minimum of 8 years of systems-level development experience is preferred; 5 years may be acceptable for candidates with a strong background in security.
• Extensive practical knowledge of Windows internals and architecture is essential.
• Proficiency in C# at a professional level is required.
• Solid experience working with C++ systems.
• Proven experience in producing Windows software, endpoint agents, or security products.
• In-depth foundational understanding of Windows security architecture, including privileged services, registry, COM, WMI, UAC, elevation, and certificate management.
• Demonstrated success in owning endpoint features comprehensively.
• Capability to work independently and troubleshoot complex field issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
• A degree in Computer Science or an equivalent practical engineering background.
• Expertise in Windows installer technologies such as MSI, InstallShield, or WiX.
• Experience with enterprise deployment tools like Intune, Configuration Manager/SCCM, Group Policy, or Tanium.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting antivirus and EDR coexistence issues.
• Knowledge of Windows certificate stores and code signing practices.
• Experience with TLS interception, trust-chain management, and certificate pinning.
• Familiarity with the Windows Filtering Platform, network drivers, or kernel-mode components.
• Experience in Python or Rust programming languages.
• Familiarity with AI developer tools such as Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code extensions, or MCP.
• Experience in developing browser extensions for Edge or Chrome.
• Background in network traffic inspection or packet analysis.
• Previous experience with a cybersecurity vendor, especially in DLP, CASB, EDR, or browser security products.
• Experience in macOS or cross-platform endpoint development.
