Cloud Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, automate, and deploy production-quality services for customers across AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP.

• Collaborate with Development and Architecture teams to create complex, highly available cloud environments for both internal and external infrastructure.

• Provide Level 3 technical support to internal teams, customers, and partners.

• Lead and educate clients on various cloud deployment strategies.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for the infrastructure that supports the core product.

• Investigate and resolve customer integration challenges during the implementation phase.

• Develop procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.

• Conduct root cause analysis for implementation errors and offer feedback to the Core development team.

• Document best practices and lessons learned effectively.

• Design, implement, and maintain a secure and scalable infrastructure platform.

• Maintain and support internal tools while enhancing system health and reliability.

• Collaborate with the Cloud Architect and Development teams to ensure that infrastructure meets project deliverables with high quality and operational maturity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Information Technology, with a focus on infrastructure and platform services automation.

• At least 4+ years of experience in engineering and supporting containerization technology.

• 4+ years of experience working with AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP.

• Professional Cloud Certifications are highly preferred.

• Proven experience in building end-to-end cloud solutions using detailed architecture documentation.

• Demonstrated capability in translating customer requirements into new infrastructure solutions that address business needs.

• A strong drive to innovate and leverage various technologies to meet complex business challenges.

• Expertise in troubleshooting support escalations, optimizing on-call processes, and documenting knowledge effectively.

• Strong foundational knowledge of networking and proven experience with Security and Compliance best practices (SOC2, HIPAA, ISO27001) and how to implement controls for high-velocity software delivery teams.

• Proven experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift and Docker.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.

• In-depth knowledge of cloud service providers and best practices regarding implementation and configuration, preferably with experience managing customer environments.
