
Senior Wind Technician – Travel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Resource Managers and Site Leadership to fulfill contractual obligations according to customer specifications and daily activities.
• Assist in all aspects of site preparation, including the coordination of labor and materials, with minimal oversight.
• Engage in pre-job meetings to address the schedule, weather conditions, LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) procedures, hazards, and jobsite/customer requirements.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on wind turbines, including conducting diagnostic electrical analyses.
• Carry out maintenance, repairs, or part replacements to rectify wind turbine malfunctions.
• Record all performed work utilizing company-provided technology.
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Wind Technician with successful completion of a technical knowledge assessment, or at least 4 years of work experience as an Electromechanical Technician with passing a technical knowledge assessment.
• Must possess and retain a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel extensively, requiring 100% travel availability.
• Ability to handle repetitive weights of 50 lbs and to climb towers up to 300 feet daily.
• Comply with specified manufacturer weight limits, not exceeding 300 lbs when including necessary climbing gear.
• Proficient in understanding electrical schematics and drawings.
• Capable of interpreting technical manuals, maintenance guidelines, and repair procedures.
• Commitment to adhere to internal policies and EHS regulations.
• Willingness to work in a variety of outdoor environments and customer facilities, including industrial, manufacturing, and power industry sites.
• Flexibility to work weekends, respond to short-notice job assignments, rotating shift schedules, and on-call duties as required by the site.
