Senior Web Developer – WordPress, Shopify

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of website development projects, encompassing architecture, coding, quality assurance, and deployment.

• Create and sustain customized WordPress themes and functionalities.

• Develop and manage bespoke Shopify themes.

• Connect third-party APIs and external services effectively.

• Enhance websites for accessibility, performance, Core Web Vitals, and loading speed.

• Sustain and upgrade existing client websites by addressing bugs, implementing updates, and introducing enhancements.

• Collaborate effectively with project managers, designers, creative teams, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Handle multiple projects concurrently while guaranteeing exceptional quality in delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in web development.

• Extensive experience in creating custom WordPress themes and plugins from the ground up.

• Strong familiarity with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) and ACF-driven architecture.

• In-depth knowledge of Tailwind CSS.

• Experience with modern JavaScript.

• Knowledge of Git, GitHub, pull requests, and branch-based workflows.

• Experience in Shopify theme development is highly preferred.
