Senior Web Developer – Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance complete WordPress websites from the ground up.

• Design scalable layout systems utilizing semantic HTML, Flexbox, and CSS Grid.

• Create responsive, conversion-oriented page structures across various breakpoints.

• Tailor and stabilize complex Elementor builds.

• Implement clean and maintainable frontend code.

• Optimize websites for Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP).

• Enhance site speed, stability, and accessibility.

• Assist with schema implementation and adhere to technical SEO best practices.

• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues prior to QA or client review.

• Conduct audits and enhance performance benchmarks.

• Make PHP-level adjustments to boost site performance and plugin functionality.

• Oversee plugin customization, compatibility, and troubleshooting tasks.

• Carry out API integrations within WordPress workflows.

• Manage hosting environments, staging setups, and full-site migrations, including DNS management.

• Resolve server-level and environment-related issues.

• Collaborate daily with SEO, PPC, Web Design, and Client Success teams.

• Ensure tracking scripts, forms, and CRM integrations operate seamlessly.

• Maintain task documentation and align workflows within ClickUp.

• Provide technical guidance and QA reviews when necessary.

• Balance the speed of delivery with technical excellence and long-term maintainability.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in web development, preferably in an agency or performance-driven environment.

• In-depth knowledge of WordPress development and Elementor customization.

• Advanced skills in HTML, CSS 5, Next.js, Gift-hub, and JavaScript.

• Strong comprehension of asynchronous JavaScript and DOM manipulation.

• Experience in optimizing websites for Core Web Vitals and adhering to technical SEO standards.

• Familiarity with hosting environments, DNS management, and website migration processes.

• Excellent debugging abilities and a knack for resolving complex technical challenges independently.

• Proficient in ClickUp, Slack, Zoom, and collaborative workflow practices.

• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure, structured in execution, and focused on performance.
