This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary advisor within a specialized client team, partnering closely with a Wealth Advisor and Client Experience Specialist to cultivate enduring relationships with a dedicated portfolio of Empower clients.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience by addressing needs related to client onboarding, financial planning, and investor education.
• Conduct comprehensive relationship management through phone, email, and virtual meetings, with engagements being both proactive and reactive.
• Retain assets under management while attracting additional investments through effective communication, proactive education, and unwavering responsiveness.
• Serve as the intermediary between clients and various internal groups/departments within Empower Personal Wealth to assist clients effectively.
• Articulate the ‘Personal Strategy’ investment approach; recommend, implement, and review investment strategies that are in line with clients’ risk tolerance and financial goals, while engaging clients in discussions about their portfolios, market conditions, and economic factors.
• Offer clients comprehensive financial planning across a wide range of topics, including retirement planning, income optimization, tax-advantaged savings strategies, and education planning.
• Effectively delegate responsibilities, mentor, train, and develop colleagues and resources.
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in financial services.
• Proven experience with direct client interaction, demonstrating a knowledgeable and professional demeanor.
• Advanced understanding of wealth management strategies, financial planning, tax and income optimization, and estate planning.
• Experience managing a client portfolio in a wealth management context.
• Outstanding ability to conduct effective client consultations—always maintaining composure, professionalism, and adeptness at establishing trust and fostering long-term client relationships.
• Demonstrated capability to manage diverse client needs, meet multi-product objectives, and analyze and present investment portfolios to clients.
• FINRA Series 65 certification is required.
• FINRA fingerprinting will be required upon hiring.
