Senior Virtual Premium Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Perform virtual audits and pre-audits for selected larger or more complex commercial lines policies.

• Analyze customer business operations and review, verify, and document classification-related data from financial records.

• Ensure the quality of audits by accurately identifying risk classifications and exposure bases.

• Enter audit data using a laptop and submit completed audits promptly.

• Engage in discussions about audit matters and premium adjustments with insured parties.

• Provide audit-related information to agents, insureds, underwriting, claims, and accounting teams.

• Keep updated on changes in premium auditing by consulting industry experts and literature.

• Maintain a professional approach to safeguard Builders Mutual's corporate assets.

• Accomplish special projects and assigned tasks.

• Support the training of less experienced auditors.

• Offer mentorship and guidance to junior auditors.

• Collaborate with the team virtually on a daily basis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of industry experience or a comparable mix of education and work experience.

• Proficient in computer skills, particularly MS Office.

• Strong customer service abilities.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.

• Highly efficient in managing time.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities.

• Capacity to work from a home office with minimal direct supervision.

• High level of understanding of insurance coverages.

• Must reside in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi, or Florida.
