Coding Auditor I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct coding, auditing, editing, and review processes for facility, coder, procedure, query, nonbillable, code-as-is, and other requirements as mandated by ProCode.

• Offer guidance and feedback regarding auditing, coding, as well as policies and procedures.

• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly assignments as outlined in the work/auditing plan.

• Carry out timely reviews to ensure that deadlines are adhered to.

• Utilize available systems, resources, and reports to identify issues and assess further coding, editing, or auditing requirements.

• Communicate coding challenges and training needs to the Coding Senior Auditor and/or Supervisor/Manager of Coding and Quality Services.

• Engage in system testing as necessary to support ProCode processes and procedures.

• Provide guidance and support to the global MIPS team for MIPS quality reviews.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation is maintained.
