This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Be responsible for the intake, briefing, scoping, scheduling, delivery, and evaluation of all video requests.
• Make and justify decisions regarding shipping, revisions, or rethinking the approach.
• Adhere to cycle-time targets: 48 hours for social cutdowns and templated assets; five business days for demos; 72 hours for event wraps; and 15–20 business days for custom launch animations.
• Keep the request tracker updated with the owner’s name, date, and reasons for any canceled work.
• Personally oversee the editing of every video from storyboarding and pacing through to final delivery.
• Clearly showcase real products at social media sizes.
• Create a library of template formats for demos, launches, customer reels, social cutdowns, and event wraps.
• Animate title sequences and data callouts.
• Develop variant systems for 30–80 paid advertisement cuts.
• Assess where AI generation enhances or detracts from the final product.
• Direct the videographer and motion contractor, ensuring source files are included in Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Work collaboratively with DevRel, Content, Events, and Growth teams.
• Experience in producing videos for a technical or developer audience, with the ability to identify specific assets and their functions.
• Capable of independently editing, sound mixing, captioning, creating aspect-ratio variants, and managing delivery specifications.
• Familiar with a 48-hour turnaround time and able to articulate prioritization trade-offs.
• Comfortable implementing AI-enhanced workflows using Remotion or similar code-based programmatic video generation tools.
• Proficient in motion graphics with After Effects or equivalent software, making independent motion design choices.
• Experienced in managing a video program from start to finish and standing by final decisions.
• Preferred: Experience in managing freelance talent and studio relationships, including understanding day rates and client-side SOWs.
• Preferred: Knowledge of distribution and measurement metrics beyond just view counts.
• Preferred: Exposure to 3D or hardware visualization.
• Preferred: Experience being the first or sole video professional within an organization.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
