Senior Video Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Edit and finalize videos tailored for various formats, such as commercials, corporate videos, social media content, and testimonials.

• Develop essential graphics and animations to collaborate effectively with other editors and departments.

• Engage actively in pre-production, production, and post-production stages.

• Comprehend project needs and requirements, utilizing both technical and creative skills to deliver high-quality content.

• Collaborate with the filming team, offering ideas and feedback throughout the process.

• Work with soundtracks, sound effects, color grading, and imagery to ensure optimal final quality.

• Oversee the organization, maintenance, backup, and archiving of video files.

• Produce on-screen text, animations, and supporting audiovisual elements for promotional, corporate, and documentary videos.

• Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in video and artificial intelligence.

• Employ artificial intelligence tools for video creation.

• Collaborate with the filming team to adhere to established deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in video editing across various formats.

• Proficiency in video editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro.

• Exceptional editing skills and a solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, and timing.

• Experience and autonomy in motion design using After Effects.

• Familiarity with the fundamentals of 2D animation.

• Knowledge of generative AI tools for image and video, such as Nano Banana, VEO, Magnific, and Higgsfield.

• Understanding of video color grading techniques.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working both in a team and independently.

• Ability to manage projects effectively and plan production schedules and resources.

• Strong time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines.

• Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve is advantageous.

• Experience in sound design is a bonus.

• A Bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Production, Film, Advertising, or a related field is preferred.

• Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
