• Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Senior Vice President of the Testing Division is tasked with driving growth, profitability, and market share for our field-testing services business, which employs approximately 1,000 individuals across various locations in the United States and Canada.
• Foster, retain, and cultivate a high-performing team while building a culture based on ownership, collaboration, inclusion, and safety.
• Assume complete P&L responsibility for the Testing Segment, which encompasses revenue, EBITDA, and margin expansion, alongside DSO management and the creation of annual operating plans, forecasts, and capital prioritization.
• Exhibit financial acumen, including forecasting, budgeting, and market pricing strategies; leverage data and financial insights to support disciplined decision-making and operational rigor.
• Enhance operating leverage and maintain division profitability through disciplined cost and margin management.
• Strengthen relationships with executive-level clients, manage strategic accounts, and accelerate organic growth through focused market prioritization and integrated portfolio offerings.
• Enhance utilization, improve backlog visibility, enforce pricing discipline, and maximize project-level profitability.
• Implement consistent margin measurement methodologies across various service lines and regions.
• Ensure robust system adoption and maintain data integrity across enterprise platforms such as Workday, Salesforce, financial reporting, and project management tools.
• Define decision rights and governance structures to facilitate scalable and repeatable performance.
• Oversee due diligence and integration processes for acquisitions.
• Collaborate effectively within our shared services and matrixed structure by closely partnering with corporate and functional leaders (Finance, HR, Legal, Safety, Sales, and Marketing) to meet division objectives, drive cross-portfolio growth initiatives, and create integrated solutions.
• Ensure effective execution within our enterprise operating model.
• 20 years of leadership experience in the environmental testing services sector.
• Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering discipline or a related scientific field.
• Proven track record of successfully leading a multi-geographical environmental testing business generating over $200M, managing large and dispersed teams.
• Hands-on experience in field testing, including stack, ambient, and LDAR as a singular practice.
• Successful history of integrating acquisitions operationally and culturally to promote growth.
• Demonstrated ability to lead effectively within a matrixed structure in conjunction with corporate shared-service functions, including sales and marketing.
• Proven experience in leading and operating within a publicly traded company.
• Skilled in managing, tracking, and reporting on key KPIs.
• Proven success in developing high-performing teams and establishing successorship.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking capabilities and operational discipline.
• High integrity, collaborative, inclusive, and a steadfast commitment to safety.
• Strong communicator in written, verbal, and non-verbal forms.
• Experience working across diverse regulatory environments, technical disciplines, client sectors, and geographies, while aligning global standards with effective local execution.
