This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers and manage commercial terms.
• Develop and implement a negotiation strategy for TriMark’s product portfolio.
• Create and execute an annual roadmap for supplier negotiations focused on margin enhancement.
• Lead intricate negotiations with key vendors.
• Develop negotiation playbooks and manage the commercial vendor scorecard.
• Oversee the RFP and competitive bidding process.
• Design, execute, and award all RFPs, RFQs, and competitive bidding events.
• Ensure that Category Management requirements and sales-division needs are reflected in every bid specification.
• Monitor post-award implementation and compliance with captured savings.
• Establish the Enterprise Sourcing Strategy and manage strategic vendor selection.
• Assess the supplier portfolio.
• Reduce total landed costs and enhance supplier economics.
• Manage Private Label Development and Range Implementation from start to finish.
• Achieve targets related to sale prices and margins.
• Lead pricing and margin strategies.
• Directly associate negotiated cost improvements with pricing actions.
• Oversee imports and global sourcing activities.
• Negotiate all rebates, supplier income, and program funds.
• Enhance inventory outcomes through strategic sourcing alignment.
• Align vendor terms, lead times, and minimum order quantities.
• Represent TriMark in engagements with Buying Groups and Strategic Partners.
• Foster external relationships.
• Co-manage new product introductions and participate in all vendor QBRs.
• Act as a joint stage-gate owner for new product introductions.
• Build and lead a high-performing sourcing organization.
• Cultivate a culture of urgency, accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
• Participate in weekly Sourcing/Category Management alignment meetings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related discipline; MBA is preferred.
• Over 12 years of progressive leadership experience in sourcing, procurement, supplier negotiations, merchandising, or similar commercial roles.
• Proven track record of leading complex supplier negotiations and RFP events with tangible financial results.
• Experience in multi-site distribution, foodservice, hospitality, wholesale, retail, or similarly intricate product environments.
• Background in leading Private Label programs, supplier portfolio strategy, and inventory-related sourcing decisions.
• Established ability to build and lead high-performance teams in a dynamic, execution-focused environment.
• Strong executive presence with the capability to influence senior stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners.
