This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with the Chief Commercial Officer to formulate and implement the commercial strategy for rese-cel, encompassing market development, customer engagement, brand strategy, and activities related to launch readiness.
• Oversee commercialization planning and execution to guarantee effective launch preparation and market assimilation.
• Convert commercial strategy into practical sales and marketing plans, objectives, and performance indicators.
• Supply customer, market, and competitive insights to guide commercial decision-making and launch preparations.
• Assist in forecasting, business planning, and commercial analytics initiatives.
• Build, lead, and nurture a high-performing Sales and Marketing organization capable of facilitating a successful launch and sustaining long-term growth.
• Design organizational structure, hiring plans, talent strategies, and capability-building programs for commercial functions.
• Set performance expectations and cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, and execution excellence.
• Lead launch planning and execution for rese-cel, including field force design, deployment strategy, promotional planning, customer engagement, and treatment center activation.
• Collaborate with Market Access to assist in payer engagement strategies, reimbursement readiness, and site-of-care considerations.
• Work in partnership with Operations, Manufacturing, and Patient Services teams to ensure commercial readiness for the distinct logistical and operational demands of cell therapy delivery.
• Aid in establishing customer-facing processes that support patient identification, treatment center engagement, scheduling, chain of identity, and chain of custody.
• Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs to ensure scientifically accurate and compliant promotional messaging and educational initiatives.
• Partner with IT to create and implement commercial systems, CRM platforms, order management capabilities, and analytics tools necessary for supporting launch execution.
• Coordinate with Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, and Quality partners to ensure that all commercial activities adhere to relevant legal and regulatory standards.
• Act as a vital member of the Commercial Leadership Team, contributing to wider company initiatives and strategic planning.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, treatment centers, advocacy organizations, and other essential stakeholders.
• Represent the company at industry, scientific, and commercial conferences as appropriate.
• Monitor market trends, competitive actions, and changing customer needs to pinpoint opportunities and risks.
• Develop and manage commercial budgets and resource plans in alignment with organizational goals.
• Ensure the effective and efficient allocation of commercial investments to meet launch and business objectives.
• A bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, MD, or other relevant graduate degree) is preferred.
• A minimum of 15 years of progressive commercial experience in biotechnology, biopharmaceuticals, or specialty pharmaceuticals is required.
• Significant commercial leadership experience with a proven history of building, scaling, and directing successful sales and marketing teams.
• Experience in supporting, leading, or executing a product launch in cell therapy, gene therapy, or another complex specialty therapeutic area.
• Comprehensive understanding of cell therapy commercialization, including treatment center engagement, patient access, operational logistics, chain of identity, and chain of custody requirements.
• Proven success in partnering across Medical Affairs, Market Access, Operations, IT, Regulatory, and Compliance functions.
• Strong financial, analytical, and business planning skills.
