This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Establish the Organizational Vision and Strategy for Talent & Operations.
• Develop and implement a unified strategy for KF culture, talent, and operations that fosters a top-tier performance culture and advances the KIPP Foundation priorities in alignment with the One KIPP strategy throughout the KIPP Network.
• Cultivate a performance-driven culture through effective talent systems and initiatives aimed at growth and development across KF; ensure that talent systems are adept at attracting, developing, and retaining high-performing, mission-driven staff.
• Track organizational health metrics (such as employee engagement, skill enhancement, process adoption, regional leader satisfaction, etc.) and initiate improvements based on data and feedback.
• Act as a strategic advisor to the COO and Leadership Team on matters related to organizational efficiency, capacity, and long-term sustainability.
• Promote the KIPP Foundation culture to guarantee the recruitment, retention, and success of high-quality talent to support KIPP regions and students; establish a vision for and lead KF cultural events (All Staff calls and gatherings, communications, etc).
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 12 years of experience in leadership roles within a complex organization, including a minimum of 10 years in Talent and/or Operations functions; must have at least 5 years of experience managing the Talent function.
• Demonstrated success in overseeing multiple functions and senior leaders in a matrixed environment.
• Extensive experience collaborating as a senior partner with executive leadership.
• 25 holidays plus an additional 18 days of flexible PTO (flexible PTO increases to 23 days for years 3 and 4, and to 28 days for years 5 and beyond).
