This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Oversee, manage, and expand SP-owned physician practices
• Establish practice-specific growth and performance objectives and monitor progress
• Supervise daily operations across practices, ensuring clear priorities, expectations, and support
• Identify areas for enhancing practice growth, operational efficiency, and satisfaction for patients, physicians, and staff
• Assist affiliated ASCs and hospitals with referral, scheduling, and operational coordination
• Review and authorize provider employment contracts
• Develop and implement optimal processes and strategies
• Create and launch dashboards, processes, playbooks, tools, and materials
• Define future strategy, objectives, and operating model for Practice Operations
• Assess and prioritize strategic opportunities through analysis and stakeholder discussions
• Collaborate with corporate functional teams on planning and executing initiatives
• Promote standardization while maintaining flexibility for local practice needs and physician dynamics
• Share insights on practice performance, lessons learned, and best practices
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with physicians, practice leadership, and administrators
• Address complex relationship issues within practices alongside local leaders and other teams
• Engage in regular discussions with practice leaders and physicians
• Participate in governing boards and committees of practices as required
• Coordinate with Division Presidents, Market CEOs, and facility managers
• Evaluate and prioritize practice M&A opportunities
• Build rapport with M&A targets and collaborate with corporate teams
• Convert strategic opportunities into actionable plans
• Organize and carry out practice integration efforts with the Corporate Integration team
• Lead and mentor the Practice Management team while supporting local practice leadership
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required
• Master's degree is preferred
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in healthcare practice management
• Minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership position
• FACHE certification is preferred
• CMPE certification is preferred
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare operations, financial management, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
• Capacity to lead large teams and manage several priorities simultaneously
