This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Instructure is nearing $1 billion in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and operates at a scale that necessitates marketing to act as a genuine commercial engine.
β’ Oversee a marketing organization of substantial scale and complexity β encompassing lifecycle marketing across three key business segments, brand and creative, communications, and web and digital β while directly managing marketing strategy and execution for our BizGov segment.
β’ Develop and implement the enterprise marketing strategy in close collaboration with the President of the Global Commercial Organization, executing that strategy through a skilled, multi-disciplinary team of marketing leaders and their respective teams.
β’ Establish the approach for how Instructure generates awareness, builds a pipeline, and acquires and retains customers across the Higher Education, K-12, International, and BizGov markets.
β’ Drive pipeline contribution targets, ensure accountability within your teams, and collaborate with Sales and Customer Success leadership to guarantee that marketing results in conversions.
β’ Own and enhance the Instructure brand and narrative to ensure the brand acts as a catalyst for commercial success, rather than functioning as a separate initiative.
β’ Lead international marketing initiatives to ensure that Instructure's marketing presence, pipeline contribution, and brand strength significantly extend across global markets.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with significant experience at companies with an ARR of $300 million or more.
β’ Proven track record in pipeline generation β you have participated in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), understand what pipeline coverage entails, and have been accountable for revenue targets.
β’ Experience managing multiple marketing functions simultaneously β you have expanded beyond your core discipline and developed leaders, not just teams.
β’ International marketing experience β you have worked in or led marketing across various geographies.
β’ A history of brand and positioning work that has driven commercial results, rather than merely improving perception scores.
β’ Executive presence and communication skills that are effective at both the board level and during a sales kickoff on the same day.
β’ A mission-driven focus on education and learning is a plus, but not mandatory.
β’ Kindness, directness, and a good sense of humor. We take our work seriously, but we approach each other with lightheartedness.
β’ Competitive compensation, with all full-time employees participating in our ownership program β because everyone should have a vested interest in our success.
β’ Flexible work culture. Our remote, hybrid, and in-office collaboration spaces differ based on role, team, and location.
β’ Generous time off, including local holidays and our annual βDim the Lightsβ period in late December, when teams are encouraged to take a step back and recharge according to departmental needs.
β’ Comprehensive wellness programs and mental health support.
β’ Learning and development resources, including professional development tools and tuition reimbursement, to facilitate your growth.
β’ Access to the technology and tools you need to perform at your best.
β’ Motivosity employee recognition program.
β’ A culture grounded in inclusivity, support, and meaningful connections.
