This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Accountable for expanding KEF's Clean Energy division and increasing market share by proactively identifying, developing, structuring, and finalizing opportunities in renewable clean energy finance.

• Responsibilities encompass the full sales cycle including business development and prospecting, maintaining relationships with current and potential clients, structuring transactions aligned with product offerings, creating and analyzing financial models, managing client interactions, and traveling for events.

• Cultivate and sustain a comprehensive understanding of energy and solar incentive programs to structure financial transactions accordingly.

• Engage with, propose to, and negotiate with C-level executives at developer organizations.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure that all financing proposals are accompanied by appropriate content and responses.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (mandatory)

• At least 8 years of consultative sales experience in the clean energy equipment finance or project finance sectors, ideally within the mid-ticket energy segment. (mandatory)

• In-depth knowledge of finance and leasing, renewable energy markets, including project development/modeling, finance, tools in the clean energy industry (e.g., PVSyst), as well as commercial, regulatory, market, technical, legal, and energy tax credits. (mandatory)

• Experience in financing large, structured, PPA-based, and direct energy-related transactions and portfolios. (mandatory)

• Proven track record in successfully sourcing and expanding new business through the development and management of developer relationships. (mandatory)

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills along with expertise in presentation and public speaking. (mandatory)

• Extensive and proven experience in working with and negotiating with C-suite decision makers, complemented by strong relationship management and organizational skills. (mandatory)

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-faceted projects, delegate tasks effectively, and facilitate internal communication throughout the organization. (mandatory)

• Existing relationship contacts within the clean energy sector. (preferred)
