Senior Value Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Conduct research on industry trends and accounts to gain insight into customer situations.

• Organize and lead virtual or onsite consulting sessions to evaluate business operations.

• Identify and assess opportunities for business enhancements.

• Propose a strategic roadmap for improvements and deliver analyses of Business Value.

• Take charge of identifying organizational value drivers and act as a trusted advisor to clients.

• Work collaboratively with a skilled, international team of Value Engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years’ demonstrated experience in enterprise software sales, business development, or management consulting.

• Strong knowledge of enterprise solutions.

• Familiarity with financial modeling techniques (IRR, NPV, ROI, TTV), cash flow analysis, and business case formulation.

• Capability to refine current financial models to align with evolving business and technology landscapes.

• Excellent communication skills, able to present complex ideas clearly and convincingly.

• Proficient listener who adopts a consultative approach to building relationships and solving problems.

• Strategic thinker, skilled in identifying and validating organizational issues.

• Proven track record of using customer research to craft focused account strategies.

• Experience in facilitating customer workshops to reveal significant opportunities.

• Willingness to occasionally assist with international engagements, which may involve travel.

• Background in Cybersecurity solutions.

• Proficiency in both Japanese and English.
