
Senior UX Researcher β 6 month contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Develop and execute UX research, usability assessments, and mixed-method exploration.
β’ Collaborate with Product and UX Design teams to create discovery strategies and suggest research methodologies.
β’ Identify and engage suitable customers, participants, and stakeholders.
β’ Oversee comprehensive research processes, including the creation of discussion guides, study facilitation, analysis, synthesis, and dissemination of findings.
β’ Perform surveys, in-depth interviews, remote feedback sessions, usability testing, prototype-based research, user outreach, use-case exploration, persona and journey mapping, and validation.
β’ Convert customer insights and research data into actionable strategies and design recommendations.
β’ Facilitate or take part in workshops, effectively communicating strategic research decisions and outcomes to leadership.
β’ Provide leadership on projects for researchers and designers.
β’ Work in partnership with subject matter experts, Customer Success, Data Science, and Customer Insights to enhance understanding of personas, journeys, and use cases.
β’ Over 5 years of experience as a UX researcher or in a comparable customer-oriented research position.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in psychology, statistics, human-computer interaction, information systems, or a related discipline.
β’ Capability to formulate research strategies and discovery plans.
β’ Proficiency in developing discussion guides, selecting methodologies, conducting interviews and studies, and analyzing and synthesizing findings.
β’ Strong qualitative and quantitative research abilities.
β’ Experience in translating user feedback into practical insights.
β’ Familiarity with tools such as Dovetail, User Interviews, Salesforce, SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, Pendo, or similar platforms.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Willingness to travel to customer locations approximately four times a year.
β’ Experience using AI tools like Claude and Microsoft Copilot.
β’ Preferred experience in healthcare, medical, regulated, payer, acute-care, or financial application research.
β’ Collaboration experience in Figma and Miro is preferred.
β’ Ability to work across Product, UX Design, Engineering, Customer Success, Data Science, Customer Insights, and internal subject matter experts is preferred.
β’ Option for remote work with in-office events that require travel to Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City.
