This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take ownership of the user experience across the game's essential systems: workflows, information architecture, interactions, and layout.
• Create the HUD, menus, screens, and real-time input to ensure clarity and a delightful user experience.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups, guiding them through to final implementation.
• Construct and connect your UI within Unreal (UMG), collaborating closely with a UI engineer.
• Establish and uphold a UI design system that both the team and external vendors can utilize.
• Guide outsourced graphic designers on aspects such as iconography, color schemes, and visual refinement.
• Conduct playtests and iterate swiftly as the game progresses.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design for games, including at least one released title or significant work in progress.
• An impressive portfolio showcasing your UI/UX contributions for complex games, illustrating your design process and thought processes.
• Established ability to simplify intricate systems while retaining their depth and intuitiveness.
• Clear understanding of cozy, life-simulation, management, and adventure games, as you will be designing a blend of these genres.
• Practical experience building UI in Unreal (UMG). However, we will consider an outstanding UX candidate with limited Unreal experience, provided they possess some hands-on knowledge.
• Proficiency in Figma and/or Adobe Suite.
