This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, implement, and assess training programs for travel advisors and agency partners.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure training initiatives align with company objectives.
• Create, execute, and lead workshops and webinars.
• Develop online learning sessions.
• Create comprehensive curricula for Travel Leaders Network products and services.
• Produce training manuals, guides, tip sheets, video tutorials, and interactive e-learning modules.
• Design and manage certification programs for travel advisors.
• Conduct needs assessments utilizing surveys, polls, whiteboards, and performance data analysis.
• Tailor training content to meet the specific needs of Travel Leaders Network.
• Review and update specialist programs to ensure courses remain relevant and in line with industry standards.
• Prepare timely reports on training activities.
• Develop, facilitate, and oversee classroom training for annual in-person conferences and other events.
• Provide customer service support via email and phone calls.
• Lead engaging in-person and virtual training sessions using a variety of instructional techniques.
• Utilize LMS platforms, interactive webinars, and other training technologies to enhance program adoption and utilization.
• Organize and conduct workshops and seminars on topics such as AI, sales techniques, customer service, and risk management.
• Gather and analyze attendee feedback to refine training programs.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new travel products, and emerging destinations to maintain relevant content.
• Keep accurate and timely learner records and data entry.
• Manage assigned projects within established time and budget constraints.
• A minimum of 7+ years of leisure travel sales experience as a travel advisor, achieving $750,000+ in annual sales, or equivalent experience in a travel agency management or ownership role.
• At least 5 years of training experience in the travel industry, ideally within a travel agency or consortium environment.
• Industry credentials from CLIA, ASTA, ACTA, and The Travel Institute are advantageous.
• Exceptional skills in comprehensive curriculum development with a proven success record.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Excellent project management skills with a commitment to meeting strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced skills in PowerPoint.
• High level of professionalism and presentation capabilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Solid understanding of adult learning theory.
• Demonstrated experience using webinar tools, including the development and delivery of virtual classes and workshops, is a plus.
• Background in Accessible Travel, Honeymoon & Destination Wedding Travel, Luxury Travel, Leisure Travel, Corporate Travel, Group Travel, Family Travel, Sustainable Travel, Active & Adventure, or Duty of Care is highly desirable.
• Proficient in instructional design principles and techniques, including the ADDIE model.
• Expertise in e-learning software such as Articulate and Camtasia, LMS platforms, and virtual training tools like Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Flexibility in adapting training methods to accommodate diverse learning needs and technology skill levels.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
