This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +9 more states.
• Formulate and implement a structured sales strategy within your designated territory to cultivate and maintain relationships with advisors by offering consultative support for retirement plan design.
• Preparation and Consultation on Retirement Plan Design: Consulting on Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit plans, as well as generating and presenting proposals and feasibility studies.
• Accountable for achieving or surpassing annual revenue targets.
• Serve as the external representative of CRPS within your territory to foster partnerships with financial advisors.
• Capable of establishing and sustaining a consistent sales pipeline in your assigned area.
• Possess a thorough and extensive understanding of the retirement plan landscape, along with relationships and plan design expertise in the assigned territory.
• Exhibit a team-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate with other departments to achieve shared objectives.
• Demonstrate refined sales abilities for presentations to financial advisors and clients.
• Represent the team at national conferences or meetings, which may include public speaking, facilitating panel discussions, or other engagement opportunities.
• Engage in Proactive Sales Campaigns: Document activities related to outbound calls, scheduled meetings, virtual study groups, group webinars, etc., to enhance retirement plan business growth and raise awareness of available resources.
• Manage the promotion of 3(16) Fiduciary Plan Administrative services, encouraging discussions with advisors and consulting on the advantages for plan sponsors.
• Assist advisors in resolving issues.
• Travel to conferences and advisor locations for site visits (up to 50%).
• Proven track record in TPA sales with over 10 years of experience selling to financial advisors.
• Extensive knowledge of retirement plan design, including Cash Balance, Defined Contribution, and Defined Benefit plans.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Results-oriented with a history of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
• Experience: 3-5 years with a focus on the retirement plan sector (401k, etc.).
• Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Business, Economics, Marketing, or Communications).
• Preferred Designations or Qualifications: QKS, QKA, or an equivalent designation, or a commitment to obtain one within 18 months.
• Required Software/System Proficiencies: Microsoft Office (mandatory), Salesforce.com (preferred).
• Ideal candidates will have experience in an advisor-facing role within a TPA.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
