This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of benefits administration for health, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, life, disability, wellness, and other benefit programs.
• Act as a subject matter authority for benefits, wellness, and 401(k) offerings.
• Collaborate with carriers and vendors to address eligibility, claims, and data-related issues.
• Ensure precise and prompt benefits administration, invoice reconciliations, and integrity of HRIS data.
• Assist with benefits strategy initiatives, wellness programs, open enrollment, vendor implementations, and compliance activities.
• Deliver timely and professional customer service for inquiries related to benefits, wellness, and 401(k).
• Create communications for team members to enhance understanding and utilization of benefit programs.
• Support compliance requirements including ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, nondiscrimination testing, and audits.
• Manage leave programs such as FMLA, disability, parental leave, and applicable state leave initiatives.
• Coordinate leave administration with third-party administrators, payroll, and internal stakeholders.
• Handle ADA accommodation requests and manage the administration of workers’ compensation claims.
• Assist in compensation administration, encompassing market pricing, job evaluations, annual compensation planning, incentive programs, salary surveys, salary structures, and governance.
• Serve as a functional expert for Paylocity Benefits & Compensation, Cocoon, Payscale, and related Total Rewards systems.
• Collaborate on strategic initiatives, process enhancements, automation opportunities, cutting-edge technologies, and AI-driven solutions.
• Operate with a high degree of independence while collaborating with Total Rewards leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related discipline.
• 5-8 years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, focusing on benefits, 401(k), leave administration, ADA accommodations, compensation, and compliance.
• Comprehensive understanding of benefits and leave programs along with employment regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, PFL, ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA) and relevant state laws.
• Demonstrated experience in administering high-volume leave and accommodation programs.
• Familiarity with compensation principles, including market pricing, salary structures, job evaluations, and annual compensation planning.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex benefits and leave concepts to all organizational levels.
• Capability to independently manage multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic environment with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, formulas, pivot tables, and lookups.
• Ability to uphold confidentiality and manage sensitive information with professionalism.
• Minimal travel is required.
• CEBS, CCP, or similar professional certification is preferred.
• Experience in supporting multi-state organizations with complex leave and compliance requirements is preferred.
• Experience with the administration and compliance of self-insured health plans is preferred.
• Experience in supporting annual compensation review cycles and salary structure administration is preferred.
• Experience with Paylocity, Cocoon, Payscale, or similar platforms for compensation, benefits, and leave administration is preferred.
• Experience leading HR process improvement initiatives is preferred.
