Senior Tools Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the internal automation for the TargetProcess project management system, including custom rules, workflow logic, and integrations with internal systems.

• Design and implement Slack and Telegram bots that create tasks, send notifications, and respond to routine inquiries.

• Automate recurring operational tasks such as on-call announcements, absence notifications, and reminders.

• Develop AI-powered assistants and agents to address employee inquiries and perform routine tasks.

• Create lightweight internal mini-projects that support company events and promote culture.

• Document each solution comprehensively, including its purpose, operation, and procedures for future extensions.

• Actively utilize AI in daily operations and identify opportunities for AI to transform challenges.

• Collaborate across a wide range of internal tools with a focus on backend functionalities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on automation, bot development, and process automation.

• Fullstack capabilities with a pronounced backend focus.

• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.

• Familiarity with at least one modern frontend framework: React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, or a similar technology.

• Experience with serverless platforms like Cloudflare Workers or Vercel.

• Proficient with MongoDB, ClickHouse, and/or PostgreSQL; comfortable navigating both relational and non-relational databases.

• Practical experience in building bots for Slack and/or Telegram.

• Hands-on experience in automating processes and integrating third-party APIs.

• Working knowledge of OpenAI/LLM APIs.

• Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and take ownership of outcomes without close supervision.

• Proven reliability in meeting commitments and agreements.

• Proficient in English for daily written and verbal communication.

• Strong availability and responsiveness during the hours of 12:00–18:00 CET.

• Experience with building RAG pipelines or agent-based systems is a plus.
