Senior Tools Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.

📋 Description

• Manage the internal automation processes for the TargetProcess project-management system, which includes custom rules, workflow logic, and integrations.

• Develop and deploy Slack and Telegram bots designed for task creation, notifications, and routine requests.

• Streamline recurring operational tasks such as on-call announcements, absence notifications, and reminders through automation.

• Create AI-driven assistants and agents to handle employee inquiries and routine tasks.

• Design lightweight internal mini-projects that enhance company events and culture.

• Document each developed solution, providing details on functionality, operation, and guidance for extensions.

• Leverage AI tools in daily operations and seek opportunities for AI-enhanced improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with a focus on automation, bot development, and process automation.

• Fullstack development capabilities, with a strong emphasis on backend technologies.

• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.

• Familiarity with at least one modern frontend framework (such as React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, or equivalent).

• Experience working with serverless platforms like Cloudflare Workers or Vercel.

• Knowledge of MongoDB, ClickHouse, and/or PostgreSQL; comfortable with both relational and non-relational databases.

• Hands-on experience in building bots for Slack and/or Telegram.

• Practical experience in process automation and integrating third-party APIs.

• Working knowledge of OpenAI/LLM APIs.

• Ability to operate independently, make informed decisions, and take ownership of results without close supervision.

• Dependability in fulfilling commitments and agreements.

• Proficient in English for effective daily written and verbal communication.

• Availability and responsiveness during the hours of 12:00–18:00 CET.

• Experience in constructing RAG pipelines or agent-based systems is a plus.
