Senior Threat Response Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations into identified threats and utilize security tools to analyze, contain, and resolve threats within customer environments.

• Deliver comprehensive reports to customers detailing actions taken, environmental cleanup, and strategies for protection.

• Identify and implement response strategies aimed at enhancing the security posture of customers.

• Collaborate with Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, Intel, and Product teams to create innovative methods for threat remediation.

• Prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic operational environment.

• Participate in a recurring 24/7 monthly on-call rotation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, demonstrated through direct experience in responding to security incidents and threats.

• Expertise in Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions, such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, SentinelOne, or CarbonBlack.

• In-depth knowledge of internal system functionalities for both Windows and MacOS operating systems.

• Proven understanding and experience with AI tools, including the integration of new technologies into daily workflows and problem-solving processes.

• Professional and articulate communication skills, with the capability to produce clear technical documentation.

• Availability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. MT.

• Willingness to participate in a recurring monthly on-call rotation.

• Preferred: strong grasp of security operations, enterprise technology, and network controls or protocols.

• Preferred: experience with AI-augmented development platforms for security automation and engineering AI-based solutions.

• Preferred: knowledge of current and emerging adversary tactics and techniques, along with the ability to apply this understanding effectively.
