Senior Test Engineer, E-commerce Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Collaborate as part of the product development team while working closely with developers on the customer side.

• Adhere to and promote the Quality Assistance process.

• Plan and assess testing activities effectively.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation.

• Design and implement manual, snapshot, and UI tests for new functionalities.

• Conduct functional, regression, and compatibility testing across both web and mobile platforms.

• Execute release validation, smoke testing, and quality checks post-deployment.

• Provide clear and consistent status updates and progress reports.

• Work in collaboration with product owners, business analysts, and development teams to ensure high product quality.

• Identify, document, and communicate risks and issues in a constructive manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4.5 years of QA experience with full ownership of testing processes.

• Strong skills in exploratory testing beyond scripted test scenarios.

• Experience in testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android, including the release processes.

• Ability to work independently across various cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies, feature flags, and staged rollouts.

• Strong capabilities in requirements analysis, including clarifying edge and corner cases.

• Comfortable with context switching and supporting multiple teams simultaneously.

• Proficient in writing moderately complex SQL queries.

• Hands-on experience with API testing of REST APIs utilizing tools like Postman.

• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, cookies, caching, and browser behavior.

• Experience deploying builds using Android Studio, Xcode, or comparable tools.

• Practical knowledge of Git, including branches, commits, code reviews, and pull/merge requests.

• Upper-Intermediate+ proficiency in English.
