Senior Test Engineer – Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Ensure the quality and dependability of our applications by creating and sustaining automated tests, enhancing frameworks, collaborating with CI/CD pipelines, and contributing to QA practices and reporting.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance E2E, API, and integration testing.

• Write robust, maintainable tests that provide clear failure diagnostics.

• Refactor and improve the automation framework, optimize execution, and stabilize flaky tests.

• Maintain regression suites, monitor test failures, and track metrics for test reliability.

• Identify, document, and monitor defects in collaboration with developers.

• Ensure test results are accurate and traceable, support TCM integrations, and enhance the clarity of reporting.

• Collaborate with developers and QA colleagues to clarify acceptance criteria, support early testing, and review test code.

• Ensure automated tests execute reliably within CI/CD and troubleshoot execution problems.

• Stay informed about trends and best practices in QA automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 years of hands-on experience in test automation with a strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Experience in building and maintaining automated tests utilizing WebdriverIO.

• Practical experience with API and integration testing (REST/GraphQL) using tools like Postman.

• Familiarity with Selenium, Cucumber, and Appium for both web and mobile automation.

• Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong skills in debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented settings.

• Upper-Intermediate level of English.

• Desirable: Experience with React-based web applications.

• Desirable: Knowledge of containerized test environments (Docker).

• Desirable: Familiarity with monorepos or multi-package architectures.

• Desirable: Experience in contributing to automation reporting or quality dashboards.
