Senior Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Create, update, and implement sophisticated test plans and test cases

• Produce and oversee intricate test data through application logic or API requests at various phases of test execution

• Perform API testing, encompassing data extraction and validation, and thoroughly test API workflows

• Detect and troubleshoot issues utilizing application logs and system/service logs

• Generate and preserve test documentation, including test plans, reports, and strategies

• Align business requirements with functional specifications and ensure adequate test coverage

• Provide actionable test results, document defects, follow up on resolutions, verify fixes, and update bug tracking systems

• Enhance QA processes, tools, and methodologies to improve product quality

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software testing, with a solid background in manual testing

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and the capability to enhance and implement testing strategies

• Significant experience in web testing, browser debugging, and cross-platform testing

• Proficiency in HTML, XML, and JSON

• Experience with API testing, API workflows, and principles of data validation

• Skilled with testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI

• Expertise in defect tracking and test management tools like Jira, TestRail, and Confluence

• Strong background in Agile environments

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
