Senior Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Test Engineers to define the testing scope for each product and release by establishing test strategies, as well as reviewing and composing test scenarios.

• Organize testing activities, monitor progress and methodologies, ensure alignment on priorities within the team, and facilitate consensus on environments and tools.

• Evaluate product quality by reviewing requirements and design documents, and by developing test scenarios, test cases, and test data, including automation of tests.

• Conduct product quality evaluations through test execution and reporting of results.

• Continuously evaluate and enhance product quality, requirements, and the testing process.

• Utilize test analysis and automation patterns to guarantee requirement coverage and ensure swift, dependable test execution.

• Integrate with the Development team and collaborate closely with a major client’s IT department.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in IT along with a minimum of 7 years of pertinent IT professional experience.

• Practical experience in developing effective test strategies, planning tests, creating test scenarios, writing test cases, and executing tests.

• Proficiency in API testing using tools such as Postman, Kreya, or equivalent.

• Familiarity with databases and SQL, containerized solutions, and observability tools.

• Experience in writing and modifying automated tests.

• Background in system integration testing.

• Strong understanding of testing standards and methodologies.

• Experience in defect management, encompassing defect prioritization and root cause analysis.

• Experience with complex enterprise system integration.

• Proficient in End User (UAT) management.

• Familiarity with test and defect management tools.

• Knowledge of agile software development and testing methodologies.

• Ability to grasp business context, set priorities, communicate effectively with technology-oriented teams, and convey test campaign results.

• Excellent command of the English language.
