Senior Test Automation Engineer – Healthcare/Medical Industry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and uphold scalable end-to-end test automation strategies.

• Establish and maintain test automation frameworks.

• Create and refine CI/CD quality gates and automated validation pipelines.

• Conduct stress, load, and performance testing activities.

• Work closely with developers, architects, and QA engineers to enhance product quality and reliability.

• Introduce and utilize AI-assisted testing and automation methods when applicable.

• Evaluate test results, pinpoint bottlenecks, and promote ongoing quality enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience in test automation engineering.

• Extensive knowledge across various testing layers, including unit, integration, system, UI, performance, and stress testing.

• Proficient programming skills in at least one of the following languages: JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.

• Hands-on experience with contemporary automation tools such as Playwright and Cypress.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and testing tools.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.

• Practical experience with GitLab CI or similar CI/CD platforms.

• Strong grasp of software quality assurance methodologies and automation best practices.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• Upper-Intermediate level of English or above.

• Experience with Java or C# is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Ranorex is a plus.

• Experience in penetration testing is an advantage.

• Background in regulated industries is beneficial.

• Proficiency in the German language is a plus.
