Senior Test Automation Engineer – Healthcare/Medical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable end-to-end test automation strategies.

• Create and uphold test automation frameworks.

• Construct and enhance CI/CD quality gates along with automated validation pipelines.

• Conduct stress, load, and performance testing initiatives.

• Work closely with developers, architects, and QA engineers to elevate product quality and reliability.

• Introduce and utilize AI-assisted testing and automation methods where appropriate.

• Evaluate test outcomes, pinpoint bottlenecks, and promote ongoing quality enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience in test automation engineering.

• Deep expertise across various testing layers, including unit, integration, system, UI, performance, and stress testing.

• Proficient programming skills in at least one of the following languages: JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.

• Hands-on experience with contemporary automation tools such as Playwright and Cypress.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and testing tools.

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.

• Practical experience with GitLab CI or comparable CI/CD platforms.

• Solid understanding of software quality assurance methodologies and best practices in automation.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication capabilities.

• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher.

• Familiarity with Java or C# is an advantage.

• Experience with Ranorex is a plus.

• Background in penetration testing is a benefit.

• Experience in regulated industries is advantageous.

• Proficiency in German is a bonus.
