This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Propel premium volume growth by identifying and executing strategic sales initiatives within the designated Connecticut territory.
• Assist the Regional Sales Manager in implementing and enhancing sales strategies to meet revenue and profitability objectives.
• Uncover new business opportunities while ensuring retention strategies for current accounts.
• Deliver product training sessions to agents, brokers, and distribution partners.
• Conduct both in-person and virtual training aligned with company sales initiatives and market trends.
• Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to enhance partner engagement and sales performance.
• Keep track of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions.
• Offer strategic market insights to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with brokers, agents, and key stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison between field and internal teams, sharing feedback to refine product offerings and improve customer experience.
• Maintain underwriting profitability by ensuring that sales activities comply with company guidelines and risk assessment protocols.
• Ensure that sales and marketing practices adhere to state regulations and company policies.
• Monitor and analyze sales data and performance metrics, providing regular reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
• A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, business, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience in P&C insurance sales.
• Over 5 years of sales experience in the property & casualty insurance sector, ideally within the CT market.
• In-depth knowledge of P&C insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and sales strategies.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Capability to manage administrative responsibilities, including preparing agendas, meeting notes, and marketing communications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Reside in or near the CT Shoreline.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Sales experience with a P&C Personal Lines carrier working with the Independent Agent distribution channel.
• Experience as a sales/marketing representative with Retail or Wholesale agents in CT.
