This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
• Implements the business territory strategy within their assigned area, overseeing marketing, business development, and meeting annual growth objectives for insurance products.
• Gathers, evaluates, and interprets sales data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities, including analyzing sales reports, customer information, market research, and other pertinent data to derive insights into sales performance.
• Represents and advocates for the company in the territory through agency visits, networking events, and community engagement. Identifies specific opportunities within each agency and connects them with suitable company resources.
• Works collaboratively with corporate shared services to execute the competitive strategy and attain desired outcomes while ensuring alignment with corporate governance and prioritizing customer needs.
• Develops and delivers regular sales reports, dashboards, and visual presentations to convey sales performance, trends, and analyses to key stakeholders.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales, Distribution Management, or a related field.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• For field positions: A valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Certified Sales Professional (CSP) is preferred.
• Collaborates with the Distribution Management team in agency planning and tailored compensation.
• Offers essential support (e.g., underwriting, training, troubleshooting) to agencies to build trust, comfort, and brand loyalty towards the company.
