This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives to meet or surpass these targets.
• Develop a precall strategy utilizing SMART objectives and conduct postcall assessments to enhance sales effectiveness.
• Skillfully manage objections, misunderstandings, and concerns while consistently securing logical and reasonable action items to close every sales call.
• Actively strive to meet customer needs, expectations, and challenges to foster trusted relationships and reach mutually beneficial agreements between AbbVie and its clients.
• Formulate and implement a call strategy that meets defined call metrics, optimizing coverage and frequency to key customers, thereby maximizing access and sales opportunities.
• Continuously enhance knowledge of customer needs and expectations, the market landscape, competitors, market segments and dynamics, accounts, disease states, products, and clinical and sales expertise, sharing this market intelligence with the infield team, brand team, and sales manager to ensure alignment, anticipate changes, and optimize brand strategy execution.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition with assigned healthcare providers and identify, develop, and sustain disease state experts and advocates to maximize brand performance.
• Any governmental or legal mandatory certification requirements as dictated by the respective country's laws and/or regulations (if applicable).
• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business-related field, or equivalent.
• Proven success in sales and strong presentation skills.
• Exhibits in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge, recognized as an expert resource by all pertinent stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen and adept use of business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking abilities.
• Proactively identifies customer styles and behaviors, adapting all aspects of the selling approach accordingly.
• Functions effectively in a matrix environment.
• Demonstrated record of success in sales performance within relevant therapeutic areas is preferred.
• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing, is preferred.
• Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written, is preferred (for all non-English speaking countries).
