This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and documentation of ICT infrastructure systems, which include structured cabling, telecommunications rooms, data centers, and distributed antenna systems (DAS).

• Create comprehensive construction documents, specifications, and design packages that adhere to TIA, BICSI, and relevant codes and standards.

• Work in collaboration with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to incorporate telecom designs into broader facility and campus initiatives.

• Perform site surveys and assessments to determine design needs and validate the current infrastructure.

• Evaluate contractor submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings to ensure alignment with design intentions.

• Assist project management tasks during construction phases, including on-site visits and punch list reviews.

• Craft and present clear, technically accurate reports and presentations for client leadership and project teams.

• Represent ADRM in client meetings with technical expertise and effective professional communication.

• Discover opportunities for improving design standards and contribute to the enhancement of ADRM’s telecom design practice.

• Guide junior team members and foster a culture of technical excellence within the Design Services team.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is preferred.

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the United States, with the capability to obtain licensure by comity in additional states as necessary.

• Current BICSI RCDD certification or an internationally recognized equivalent.

• Over 8 years of experience in ICT and telecom infrastructure design, showcasing proficiency in creating construction-ready design packages.

• Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM-based design tools for telecom and low-voltage systems.

• Strong understanding of TIA-568, TIA-569, TIA-942, BICSI TDMM, and applicable building and electrical codes.

• Experience in designing structured cabling, fiber optic systems, telecommunications rooms, IDF/MDF layouts, and DAS or wireless infrastructure in hyperscale settings.

• Knowledge of IT networking fundamentals and the intersection of physical layer design with enterprise network architecture.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables accurately and calmly under tight deadlines.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating technical complexity for non-technical stakeholders.

• Able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative, distributed team.

• Capacity to walk long distances during site visits and commissioning activities.
