Senior Telecom Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage Telecom design tasks independently, ensuring alignment with project scope, deliverables, timelines, and budget.

• Assist the Telecom Consultant Lead by providing updates on project progression, deliverables, budget status, risks, and potential changes in scope.

• Monitor project hours and budget performance using Deltek, identifying possible overruns or billing issues, and proactively escalating concerns.

• Recognize out-of-scope requests and coordinate the necessary change order requirements.

• Offer guidance, mentorship, and technical support to Level 1 and Level 2 Telecom Consultants.

• Develop, review, and coordinate Telecom design documentation, such as RFIs, RFQs, submittals, and quality control reviews.

• Assist with BIM coordination, document management, and collaboration with project stakeholders and MEP disciplines.

• Employ Bluebeam and other design tools for markups, coordination, and tracking reviews.

• Engage in project meetings, site visits, and client interactions as necessary.

• Accurately and timely complete timesheets, project documentation, and administrative tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical or Associate's Degree from an accredited institution.

• Over 2 years of experience in designing low voltage and communication systems for buildings.

• Familiarity with and demonstrated knowledge of ANSI/TIA and BICSI standards.

• Proficiency in Revit software.

• Self-driven to coordinate with other disciplines and clients as needed.

• RCDD credential or currently pursuing this designation (preferred).

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
