This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with program offices and stakeholders to gather requirements and oversee advanced technical activities for the system.
• Develop and implement reporting solutions, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs), which includes collecting essential metrics and generating project performance reports.
• Oversee system integrations throughout the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint Online.
• Ensure that all development adheres to relevant security standards and regulatory requirements for the oversight of human research protection.
• Make sure development aligns with established user interface (UI) design standards and complies with Section 508 accessibility guidelines.
• Execute full software development lifecycle tasks, which encompass requirements identification, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment of approved SCRs, bug fixes, and technical upgrades.
• Establish and maintain a configuration management process for all solution components, ensuring a current system baseline with comprehensive descriptive and operational documentation.
• Manage the transition of managed solutions from development to production, including conducting pre- and post-deployment quality checks and updating release notes.
• Address contract and project-related data requests and generate ad-hoc reports as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in computer science, information science, information systems management, technology management, or a related field in math, science, or technology.
• At least eight (8) years of experience in developing and supporting management information systems, with familiarity in all phases of the product lifecycle, including analysis and design, coding, testing, documentation, and configuration management.
• Proven experience in developing, testing, and troubleshooting MS Power Platform applications.
• Experience in administering Microsoft SharePoint sites and managing data.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), as well as Project and Adobe Acrobat.
• Must fulfill the requirements of SECNAV M-5239.2, the “DON Information Assurance Workforce Management Manual” (typically requiring a current CompTIA Security+ CE certification).
