Senior Technical Trainer – AI, DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver a course focused on AI for DevOps.

• Collaborate with the curriculum team to design course sections, lessons, and hands-on labs.

• Draft lab specifications for the dedicated labs team.

• Conduct testing of completed labs.

• Create and narrate concise, story-driven video lessons, each lasting around six minutes.

• Record walkthroughs for demo and lab solutions.

• Integrate structured editorial feedback, particularly for the initial section.

• Engage in weekly sync meetings and communicate via Slack with a team based in Europe/Asia.

• Concentrate on instructional delivery while the production team manages video editing, animation, lab infrastructure, and publishing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in DevOps, including Linux, containers, Kubernetes, a major cloud platform, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code (IaC).

• Ability to build and operate infrastructure independently.

• Current hands-on experience with AI agents, coding assistants, or LLM-based automation.

• Proficient in both spoken and written English.

• Ability to communicate clearly and naturally in English and exhibit confidence on camera.

• Authentic teaching experience through courses, tutorials, presentations, workshops, mentoring, or similar activities.

• Capability to simplify complex topics and empathize with novice learners.

• Willingness to adhere to an established teaching methodology and accept editorial feedback.

• Preferred: published online courses or an authored book.

• Preferred: speaking engagements at conferences, a YouTube channel, a blog, or involvement in community roles.

• Preferred: certifications in Kubernetes or AWS/Azure.

• Required: submission of a CV or LinkedIn profile along with a link that showcases teaching or presentation skills.
