Senior Technical Sourcer – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage the top-of-funnel pipelines for Engineering and Product Management positions, ranging from Senior Individual Contributors to Director-level leaders, ensuring a steady influx of high-quality candidates.

• Collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to define role requirements, calibrate candidate profiles, create structured interview panels, and expedite the hiring process with clear expectations and prompt feedback.

• Actively source and engage passive candidates through Boolean search techniques, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub/GitLab, technical forums, referrals, and open-source communities to provide diverse, representative, and high-quality candidate slates.

• Maintain talent maps and competitor insights; share market intelligence (skills, target organizations, communities) with recruiters and hiring managers.

• Monitor and enhance sourcing funnel conversion rates utilizing data, providing actionable insights that improve pipeline quality and hiring outcomes.

• Employ LLMs such as Claude to automate repetitive tasks, create and personalize outreach at scale, and streamline sourcing and research workflows to boost overall efficiency.

• Execute structured outbound campaigns (including A/B messaging and sequencing), track response-to-screen conversion rates, and adapt strategies to enhance both the speed and quality of hires.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in technical sourcing, either in-house or a combination of in-house and agency/search, specifically within Engineering and Product Management roles.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience sourcing senior-level leaders (from Senior Manager to Director+).

• Demonstrated success in sourcing talent across Engineering (full stack, backend, platform) and Product Management domains.

• Proven experience in developing top-of-funnel strategies and research methods to identify hidden talent pools.

• Ability to utilize metrics and insights to refine sourcing strategies and articulate a clear narrative with data.

• Expertise in managing pipelines from start to finish, including identification, cultivation, and long-term nurturing of candidates.

• Proficient in using sourcing and recruiting tools such as Ashby, LinkedIn, GitHub, Gem, and others.

• Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced setting; a low-ego collaborator who aligns with our values and upholds candidate experience standards.
