This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Identifies new opportunities and leverages the product portfolio to establish a foundation for sustainable growth.
• Accelerates closure rates by driving the existing pipeline of opportunities.
• Utilizes intelligence-based prospecting methods to uncover new potential prospects.
• Focuses on New Product Introduction (NPI) prospects within the region to enhance adoption rates and revenue generation.
• Takes action on marketing-qualified leads, swiftly converting them into new opportunities.
• Collaborates with and influences Bioproduction Account Managers (BAMs) and Field Application Scientists (FAS) within their district to create and implement account growth strategies.
• Supports all BioProduction Account Managers in the designated territory with sales and account planning initiatives to meet sales targets.
• Assists in developing technical solutions for complex opportunities.
• Continuously maintains and enhances technical knowledge of assigned product lines, company materials, and driven products.
• A Bachelor's degree in a life-science field is essential, such as Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Engineering.
• Over 7 years of combined sales or related functional experience in a role associated with the bioproduction process, with a preference for Single Use.
• Proven ability to collaborate across various functions and departments.
• Technical knowledge of bioproduction workflows and applications.
• Exhibits sound judgment and tact when interacting with both internal and external clients.
• Strong understanding of customer challenges and solution development is required.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the capacity to engage stakeholders effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in consultative selling and/or hardware equipment sales is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% within the assigned territory.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications is expected.
• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of German and/or French is a plus.
