• The Senior Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) LSMS plays a crucial commercial role in selling Mass Spectrometry instruments to clients focused on Small Molecules.
• Identify and prioritize new client opportunities and sales potential within the small molecules sector for the LSMS product lines.
• Support and guide Account Managers in discovering new potential opportunities.
• Develop and implement sales strategies across the relevant product lines.
• Communicate customer feedback to the Business Unit.
• Participate in technical visits and assist with new Product Introduction (NPI) prospects within the designated territory.
• Stay informed about competitor activities and industry developments.
• Lead collaboration and coordination with internal specialists to provide technical expertise.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the small molecule mass spectrometry market.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Preferred strong market knowledge and business insights within the industry sector, including key trends.
• Experience in delivering seminars and presentations.
• A commercial mindset, highly motivated by the desire to secure new business.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English and other languages as necessary for the assigned region.
• Proven track record of commercial excellence in a matrix environment.
• Ability to articulate and sell the technical features of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s scientific product portfolio.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations up to 80%, including overnight travel.
