This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Engage with both new and existing OEM clients to present and recommend Teleflex Medical OEM’s product offerings, design capabilities, and production capabilities.
• Generate quotes by reviewing drawings, plans, and pertinent customer documentation; collaborate with finance, plant engineers, demand planning, and other technical and professional personnel.
• Aid in the training and mentorship of new Technical Sales Engineers (TSEs).
• Provide support, guidance, and feedback on special projects.
• Oversee supply and quality agreements for non-corporate clients.
• Evaluate costs and analyze sales return on investment (ROI).
• Create Sales Funnel and Forecasting Reports.
• Surpass quarterly and annual sales objectives.
• Document and maintain client contact information.
• Support marketing initiatives by participating in trade shows, conferences, and other promotional events.
• Deliver technical presentations and demonstrate how products can satisfy client requirements.
• Offer pre-sales technical support and product education.
• Collaborate with customers to resolve any issues.
• Assist in designing customized products.
• Provide training and necessary support materials for the sales team members.
• Adhere to FDA and ISO Quality Systems regulations.
• Account for all expenses and materials related to the territory.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred.
• At least 1 year of engineering experience with a leading medical device company is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the medical device industry is strongly preferred.
• A comprehensive understanding of the medical device sector is essential.
• Familiarity with OEM business practices is preferred.
• Knowledge in catheter fabrication, suture manufacturing, and/or extrusion is preferred.
• Experience in strategic planning and execution is necessary.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
• Solid knowledge and comprehension of product development.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Technical understanding is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with outstanding presentation abilities.
• Strong reasoning and planning capabilities.
• Capacity to work effectively within a team environment.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships successfully.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative.
• Must possess a current, valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to drive new projects from initial discovery through quoting, development, and ultimately to production.
• Capable of serving as the project owner for new opportunities.
• Competent in preparing accurate sales reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
