Senior Technical Revenue Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Ensure the precise and consistent application of ASC 606 by analyzing intricate deals and modifications to contracts.

• Complete all essential month-end closing activities, including revenue recognition, journal entries, and management reporting.

• Maintain technical accounting memoranda and revenue policies in accordance with ASC 606.

• Prepare and evaluate technical revenue workbooks while analyzing revenue fluctuations.

• Identify, assess, and implement automation enhancements to improve the efficiency and accuracy of technical revenue evaluations.

• Oversee audit support and documentation for SOX controls related to revenue.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA or BS degree in finance or accounting; CPA designation is preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in revenue accounting within the SaaS/Technology sector and/or at a public accounting firm.

• Excellent analytical and written communication skills, with the capacity to manage both recurring deadlines and longer-term technical projects.

• A self-motivated individual demonstrating integrity and accountability, while also being an effective team player.

• Proficient in Excel and Google Workspace.

• Experience with NetSuite or Salesforce is an advantage.

• Familiarity with automation or AI tools such as Claude, Alteryx, Domo, or Google Apps Script is a plus.
