Senior Technical Recruiter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the entire recruiting process for engineering, from sourcing candidates to closing offers, with plans to expand into product and design as the role evolves.

• Develop and sustain sourcing pipelines that identify candidates before they begin actively searching for jobs, employing innovative outreach methods beyond just LinkedIn InMails.

• Collaborate with hiring managers to refine role specifications, interview frameworks, and scorecards to ensure we assess factors that genuinely indicate success.

• Maintain an efficient process that values candidates' time, accelerates hiring, and ensures everyone leaves with a positive impression of Fable.

• Manage the ATS (Ashby) as the definitive source of information: overseeing pipeline stages, candidate notes, and data integrity.

• Provide reports on pipeline metrics and identify bottlenecks before they escalate into issues; contribute to the development of scalable recruiting systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, with significant tenure at rapidly growing startups (Series A–C).

• A sourcing-first mentality - you excel at identifying candidates who are not actively seeking new opportunities, crafting outreach that elicits responses, and building sustainable pipelines.

• Proven ability to manage the recruiting process independently without relying on a large team, dedicated sourcer, or coordinator.

• Exceptional standards for candidate experience.

• Sufficient technical knowledge to engage in discussions about role responsibilities, including the ability to differentiate between a frontend generalist and a distributed systems specialist.

• Strong instincts for stakeholder management. Hiring managers value your insights, and you are not afraid to challenge when standards are inadequate or processes are flawed.
