This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Approach talent acquisition with a focus on candidate experience, hiring manager satisfaction, best practices, and compliance.
• Assist hiring managers and interviewers throughout the recruitment process, including application review, interview preparation, debriefs, and selection.
• Analyze and provide recruitment data accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain job postings, candidate information, and hiring statuses within the Applicant Tracking System and team spreadsheets.
• Develop and implement strategies to attract, source, and recruit high-quality talent.
• Draw in diverse talent pools.
• Formulate and execute a strategy for early-career talent and sustainable entry-level talent pipelines.
• Establish partnerships with universities, student organizations, career centers, academic programs, and military transition organizations.
• Represent Defense Unicorns at career fairs, recruiting events, networking opportunities, and conferences, with travel as necessary.
• Collaborate with Marketing to boost job postings and enhance the employer brand.
• Generate content for the Careers webpage.
• Engage candidates throughout the recruitment journey from application to hiring decision.
• Organize and conduct interviews.
• Communicate post-hiring decisions, offer letters, and negotiations.
• Inform prospective employees about the employee benefits package.
• Gather feedback from recent hires to refine recruitment processes.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Proven experience in recruiting for technical roles within a tech company.
• Proficiency with Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, Slack, and Google Suite.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fully remote or distributed team environment.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to convey information in a clear and concise manner.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Proven track record of prioritizing tasks, scheduling, and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Competence in attracting and recruiting diverse talent.
• Skill in developing early-career talent pipelines and university collaborations.
• Willingness to travel 30–40% as required.
• Ability to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
