This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee and drive comprehensive program management efforts for intricate software projects, from initial concept through regulatory submission and market launch.
• Create, monitor, and present project plans, detailed timelines, critical path evaluations, project and product risks, change control requests, and deliverables.
• Facilitate project and status meetings with internal cross-functional teams, executives, and external collaborators.
• Organize activities, tasks, and resources across software development and testing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Operations.
• Offer guidance on priorities and timelines.
• Ensure adherence to internal medical device design controls, product development protocols, and regulatory obligations.
• Inspire teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Manage frequent releases for various data platform components within a highly regulated setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 5–8 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 2–5 years of equivalent industry experience, or a PhD with 0–2 years of experience.
• Strong technical foundation and project management expertise, preferably in a regulated setting.
• Experience in the medical device sector is advantageous.
• Exceptional project management abilities, including detailed scheduling, dependency tracking, prioritizing, deadline management, and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Outstanding communication skills with the capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and product development processes.
• Proficient in Jira.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and Visio/Lucid Chart.
• Demonstrated initiative and self-direction.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational, team-building, and leadership capabilities.
• Proficient in managing conflict in a professional manner.
