This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Lead and coordinate IT project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Facilitate Agile methodologies, manage workflows, and guarantee compliance with IT project management standards and delivery expectations.
• Organize and conduct daily, weekly, and monthly Agile ceremonies, such as stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Efficiently structure workstream teams and ensure compliance with Agile practices and team commitments.
• Assist in maintaining and prioritizing the backlog, along with documentation tasks.
• Create and uphold team standards, tools, and best practices that align with PMO and enterprise delivery frameworks.
• Contribute to the development of strategic IT project roadmaps and programs through input on delivery, sequencing suggestions, and capacity insights.
• Support visual and creative communication efforts to promote stakeholder understanding, transparency, and team alignment.
• Oversee assigned project financials, resource assignments and allocations, milestone tracking, communication efforts, and key performance metrics.
• Generate status reports for leadership and governance entities.
• Draft IT project scope-of-work documents and project plans, incorporating objectives, assumptions, dependencies, cost/benefit analyses, project charters, measurable outcomes, and risks.
• Aid in change management and the building of organizational knowledge related to Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Facilitate Agile adoption, readiness, and ongoing learning at the team level.
• Encourage continuous improvement and explore new tools and techniques.
• Manage Atlassian products, such as Jira and Confluence, to ensure scalable and governed collaboration and workflow management.
• Perform additional duties as necessary.
• In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies, including Kanban and Scrum, with practical experience implementing Agile practices in delivery teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience with Agile techniques like user stories, backlog refinement, continuous integration, automated testing, and iterative delivery.
• Prior experience in project roles, either as a project manager, scrum master, or key contributor, with a solid grasp of project management principles and delivery best practices.
• Experience in administering Atlassian products (Jira and Confluence).
• Ability to communicate effectively and manage project expectations with leaders, sponsors, team members, and other stakeholders at both the team and project levels, through written and verbal means.
• Awareness of various processes and methodologies, with the ability to apply suitable techniques as needed.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple workstreams or competing priorities.
• Capability to work independently as well as within a cross-functional, matrixed team environment.
• Willingness to learn, comprehend, and apply new technologies and tools.
• Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
• 3-5+ years of experience in project, Agile, or delivery management.
• Project Management certification (PMP) is preferred.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is preferred.
• 1-2+ years of experience in a Scrum Master role within a software development team is preferred.
• Experience in the Commercial P&C Insurance industry or other regulated environments is preferred.
• Strong presentation skills are preferred.
• Strong visual and creative communication abilities, including proficiency in dashboards, boards, or visual artifacts, are preferred.
