Senior IT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Plan, schedule, and execute intricate projects that deliver business value through software implementations.

• Engage with stakeholders and team members to discuss project requirements, expectations, and constraints.

• Allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives and deliverables.

• Oversee the vendor contracting process, ensuring all contracts are fully executed.

• Monitor vendor resources, delivery, and the execution of vendor contracts.

• Identify, assess, mitigate, and escalate potential project risks.

• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams.

• Prepare progress reports and project documentation that detail milestones, risks, and accomplishments.

• Represent projects to senior and executive leadership.

• Drive ongoing improvements in project management processes, including the use of AI.

• Mentor and support junior project managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience successfully leading complex projects to completion.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to clearly convey intricate information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to motivate and inspire project teams.

• Proficient in working effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and hybrid project management methodologies.

• PMP or other project management certifications are preferred.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in creating or utilizing AI-enabled project management practices is preferred.
