This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate quick feedback loops among prototyping, client input, and production — reducing timelines from weeks to days.
• Maintain several parallel workstreams without causing delays or unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Identify obstacles faced by makers and resolve them on the same day.
• Keep leadership and key stakeholders updated with essential information: what has been delivered, what is at risk, and what requires a decision.
• Create clarity and drive momentum in uncertain situations.
• Proactively identify and highlight risks and cross-team dependencies before they escalate into issues.
• Safeguard the team's focus to enable builders to work effectively.
• Assist the team in prioritizing the most critical tasks at present.
• Treat processes as products — continuously enhancing them as the team develops.
• Utilize AI tools (such as Cursor, v0, Claude, etc.) for prototyping, drafting specifications, generating briefs, and removing obstacles for the team.
• Directly contribute to delivery as opposed to merely coordinating with others.
• Regularly experiment with new AI tools and disseminate successful strategies across the team.
• Establish lightweight systems that enhance alignment without hindering team progress.
• Ensure effective communication among distributed teams across various time zones.
• Proven experience in delivering actual products within dynamic startup environments; preference for those with early-stage startup backgrounds.
• A maker mentality — you prefer prototyping solutions over creating slide presentations.
• Strong familiarity with contemporary AI tools and an eagerness to understand their impact on team software development.
• Comfortable integrating AI tools into your daily workflow to enhance productivity and coordination.
• Strong discernment regarding when to accelerate progress and when to decelerate — along with the credibility to advocate for either approach.
• Ability to maintain context across business, product, design, and engineering without relying on rigid handoff processes.
• Outstanding communication skills — async-first, direct, and focused on decisions rather than mere status updates.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity; you take the initiative to create structure rather than waiting for it to be provided.
• High sense of ownership and accountability — when challenges arise, you take action to resolve them.
• Experience collaborating with distributed teams.
• A Bachelor’s degree. Studies in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) would be advantageous.
